Shawls, Stoles & Dupattas
A shawl, stole or dupatta is the single draped piece that finishes a Pakistani outfit, and at Habiba Minhas you can now buy it on its own instead of as part of a full suit. This collection gathers our ladies shawls, stoles and dupattas in one place, so you can refresh a suit you already own, add warmth for winter, or replace a dupatta that went missing years ago.

About This Collection
A shawl, stole or dupatta is the single draped piece that finishes a Pakistani outfit, and at Habiba Minhas you can now buy it on its own instead of as part of a full suit. This collection gathers our ladies shawls, stoles and dupattas in one place, so you can refresh a suit you already own, add warmth for winter, or replace a dupatta that went missing years ago. Each piece is listed with its fabric, colour and length.
The difference between the three is size and season, not style. A dupatta is the long, light scarf of a shalwar kameez — usually chiffon, organza, net or lawn — worn over the shoulders or head through the year. A stole is narrower and shorter, easy to wrap around the neck with western or fusion wear. A shawl is the wide, heavier piece in wool, marina or similar winter fabrics, wrapped around the shoulders and arms when the temperature drops.
Choose by fabric, because fabric decides when you can wear it. Chiffon and organza dupattas are sheer and weigh almost nothing, so they suit summer evenings, dawats and Eid. Wool shawls trap warm air close to the body, which is why they are the default in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Quetta from November to February. Marina sits in between: soft, lightly warm, and comfortable through a Karachi winter that rarely turns truly cold.
Many pieces here are the same shawls and dupattas that complete our stitched suits, sold separately. That makes them a simple way to match. A navy wool shawl lifts a plain mustard suit, and a printed chiffon dupatta turns a solid two-piece into a three-piece without buying a new outfit.
There is no size to choose. Shawls, stoles and dupattas are one size, so the only decisions are colour, fabric and length, all listed on each product page.
If you want a complete coordinated outfit — shirt, trousers and a matching shawl cut to go together — browse the Winter Collection or our 3-Piece Suits instead. Buying the pieces separately makes sense when you already own the suit; buying the set is better value when you need the whole look.
Care follows the fabric. Dry clean wool and embroidered shawls, or hand wash them cold and dry them flat in the shade so they keep their shape. Chiffon and organza dupattas should be hand washed cold and ironed on low heat on the reverse. Fold shawls rather than hanging them, because hanging stretches wool over a season.
Every order ships across Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and Quetta, with flat Rs. 250 delivery, cash on delivery, and 14-day exchanges.
