Winter Collection 2026
Winter wear in Pakistani fashion means the same stitched shirt, trousers and dupatta you wear all year, made in heavier fabrics and paired with a shawl instead of a light chiffon dupatta. The Habiba Minhas Winter Collection 2026 gathers ready-to-wear winter suits from our Karachi studio in cambric, marina and winter cotton, most of them finished with a wool or marina shawl that does the real work of keeping you warm. The difference between a summer suit and a winter suit is not the cut, it is the cloth.

About This Collection
Winter wear in Pakistani fashion means the same stitched shirt, trousers and dupatta you wear all year, made in heavier fabrics and paired with a shawl instead of a light chiffon dupatta. The Habiba Minhas Winter Collection 2026 gathers ready-to-wear winter suits from our Karachi studio in cambric, marina and winter cotton, most of them finished with a wool or marina shawl that does the real work of keeping you warm.
The difference between a summer suit and a winter suit is not the cut, it is the cloth. Lawn and chiffon are woven thin so air passes straight through them. Cambric is a tighter, mid-weight cotton, winter cotton is heavier again, and marina is a soft winter fabric with a slightly brushed, matte surface that holds warmth close to the body. A shawl adds a second layer you can take off indoors, which is why a 3-piece winter suit with a shawl is more useful than a single heavy shirt.
Pakistan does not have one winter. Karachi stays mild, with December afternoons in the mid to high 20s °C, so a cambric or winter cotton suit is usually enough and the shawl is for the evening. Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar drop to single digits at night, and Quetta falls below freezing. In those cities choose marina, and keep the wool shawl wrapped on outdoors.
The collection includes 3-piece suits, with a shirt, matching trousers and a wool or embroidered marina shawl, and 2-piece suits for women who prefer to wear their own shawl, cardigan or coat over the top. Cuts range from long straight shirts with straight trousers to a shorter shirt over wide flapper trousers. Everything is fully stitched in standard Pakistani sizes, so there is no tailor visit and no stitching wait as the weather turns.
Winter suits cover office and university days, family visits, dawats, daytime winter functions and travel to the north. They are made for warmth and everyday wear first. For an evening barat or walima, where heavy embroidery and silk or velvet are expected, choose our formal wear collection instead.
Styling winter wear is about layering. Drape the shawl over one shoulder indoors and wrap it fully outdoors, wear closed khussas, juttis or ankle boots, and add a plain cardigan or long coat under the shawl in the coldest weeks. Deep winter colours such as plum, mustard, emerald and berry pink suit gold jewellery and warm, wheatish skin tones.
Care depends on the piece, so check each product page. Cambric and winter cotton can be washed at home in cold water with like colours. Marina should be washed gently in cold water and never wrung. Wool shawls and embroidered shawls are best dry cleaned, or hand washed cold and dried flat in the shade so they keep their shape and colour.
Every winter suit is made in small quantities, often one or two pieces per size. Habiba Minhas ships nationwide across Pakistan at a flat Rs. 250, with cash on delivery available and 14-day exchanges on unworn items. Selected suits can be previewed on yourself in our Virtual Try Room before you order.
